维生素作为微量营养素,在种鸡营养上的研究虽然相对较少,但就现有研究文献可以看出,种鸡饲粮中大部分维生素的种类与水平对种蛋孵化性能有显著影响。然而,由于研究文献中动物的品种、品系、周龄、饲粮结构、研究手段(如:水平梯度法、去除法和胚胎注射法)等不尽相同,文献发表年限跨越也很大,大部分研究结果存在较大差异,各结果之间很难相互支撑,因而大部分维生素对孵化性能影响的方式和程度及适宜维生素水平还很难准确判断。目前较明确的是,种鸡日粮维生素中VA水平不宜超过10000 IU/kg,较适宜的添加范围是8000-10000 IU/kg;VE可以提高后代抗氧化能力和免疫力,有效剂量应大于100mg/kg;25-OHD3比VD3具有更高的生物学效价,适宜添加范围VD3:2800-3500 IU/kg(25-OHD3按200%相对生物学效价折算)。
