血液作为这些物质的载体，被心脏泵入封闭的血液循环系统。而且在哺乳动物中，这个过程是通过串联在一起的两个泵共同完成的。（因为哺乳动物油两个独立的心室，各自分别将内部血液泵入相应动脉，拆开了看就相当于有两个泵）。
